	THE GROUP OF STUDENTS OF THE 10+2 HOSTEL


		Since July 2012, and this is really a big event for the GCBS,but especially for the Mustang region, the twelve first students of the GCBS who have completed the 10 years education cycle have started the “10+2” (higher studies preparing to university or qualifying studies). Since that moment, the group has been reduced to eleven students who will soon be joined by the new 2013 group, which will bring their number to 19. Among the first eleven students, there are several disciplines, among which a future nurse and a future teacher. All of them would be a real great benefit for the Mustang region. Higher studies are only possible in larger citiues like Pokhara and they require a specific studying infrastructure and environment for the young students. A house has been identified and chosen for that purpose by Lama Ngawang. It is located near the Pokhara campuses. Of course this has a cost... On a european scale, the rent would be a very affordable one, but on a local scale, it is quite an amount of money.

Kunga Choesang Gurung

	My age: 18 The studies I am following : Management Hobbies: sing songs and compose varieties of poems related to songs in Tibetan language.


		Dream for the future: my dream for the future is to become a tourist guide and to share the basic information about the ancient culture and tradition to modern tourists who visit my Mustang district day to day How I think I can be useful to Mustang in the future: I want to bring development or improvement to my district as far as possible to make the people more confortable to spend their precious lifestyle

Pema Yutin Gurung

My age: 19 The studies I am following: Management (commerce or banking) My hobbies: read novels, stories etc. Dancing is my main hobby.



	My dreams for the future: My dream is to become a business woman and a famous woman. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: I think I want to set up an organization in Mustang. Then, people will get more benefit. Many people will get an opportunity of getting job. I want to become manager of my own business or organization. And I want to develop my place, Mustang.

Pema Yangdon Gurung

My age: 17 The studies I am following nursing My hobbies: read story books and listen to music



	My dreams for the future: I will become a good nurse How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: We, the people of Mustang, have been facing a lot of problems in case of medical or health cases. So, in order to save from that, I want to become a nurse because I will serve my people through upgrading their health related problems.

Karsang Thinley

	My age: 18 The studies I am following: management My hobbies:



		My dreams for the future: I see myself to help the poor people and do my best in the future. I should give education for the poor people and to make their life happy. If I finish my further study and wanted to success my aim. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: I think to be useful to Mustang in my future to conserve our traditions and religion.

Abu Yangdon Gurung

My age: 18 The studies I am following: teacher My hobbies: giving free courses to the poor students of my village and helping my village and caring for my family members



	My dreams for the future: After I finish my studies, I see myself teaching and doing something to help my village. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: I wish to work in Mustang to help the people of my village and to work in my village school.

Yangchen Gurung

My age: 19 The studies I am following: management My hobbies: I like listening to English, Nepali, Hindu etc music, watching English movies and also like reading story books.



	My dreams for the future: My future dream is to become a good and qualified businesswoman as I have taken management. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: It will be very useful to study management stream. Nowadays there is no bank or other necessary institution but later on if any organization related to my stream is opened, then I will do my best performance in this project.

Dawa Pamo Gurung

My age: 18 The studies I am following: management My hobbies: to read any kind of story books, listening to different kinds of music and writing dialogues.



	My dreams for the future: when I see myself after my studies I think I will become a qualified and honest business woman. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: by building a management school and college for poor people of Mustang, those who did not get to study to fulfill this wish.

Phuru Gurung

My age: 18 The studies I am following: management. My hobbies: Cook foods or read holy books.



	My dreams for the future: now I am studying 10+1 in hotel management. After my studies are completed I want to become a chef. How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: Mustang is a tourism place. Many hotels and restaurants are opening. I want to serve all the tourists by providing delicious food. I want to become a Mustang chef.

Tenzin Gurung

My age: 19 The studies I am following: I am doing (+2) management faculty and wanted to join in tourism management college in the bachelor. But I am very interested in arts and drawings too. My hobbies: to read story books and play football.



	My dreams for the future: How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: Being a tourism place, Mustang, a remote area of Nepal, there isn't any modern tourist manager. I want to serve Mustang and its tourists by being a tourist manager. In other words, if I could, I wanted to preserve the arts and architectures of the Gomba's of Mustang.

Sonam Gyaltsen Gurung

	My age: 18 The studies I am following: management My hobbies: swimming.



		My dreams for the future: to become an obedient lawyer for the future How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: as in my place there is no one as a lawyer, I think I will be useful in Mustang.

Pema Samdup Gurung

My age: 19 The studies I am following: humanities (mass communication and journalism) My hobbies: writing essays and songs. Has a kee interest in music.



	My dreams for the future: be a photographer and reporter How I think to be useful to Mustang in the future: of course there are lots of great pictures such as monasteries, landscapes, cultures etc. I would be proud if I get opportunities to take photos and write various news, why not book if possible and hence want to write the real feelings of general public of Mustang.
